You can choose to make a short, two-hour journey just a couple of miles offshore, where you’ll find smaller catches of redfish in the minimal depths, a half-day journey that can bring you up to ten or fifteen miles from land for larger fish, or even full-day trips out to thirty mile distances or more, where the real monsters reside.
No matter what your interest in deep sea fishing, Texas is a great place to get the experience you desire. With so many options for excursions, various vacation locations from which to launch, and the opportunity to catch so many species of fish, it is rare to find such a perfect location to get a complete sampling of what deep sea fishing is really all about.
